We’re delighted that Soha Housing has received praise for both recent resident annual reports that we have produced for them.  They were commended on how the production of the reports engaged residents and provided value for money.

In their recent Short Notice Inspection the Audit Commission stated ‘Residents produce the Annual Report. This has resulted in a customer focused and good quality annual report, and is a good example of a way in which to engage with residents not involved in the existing structures. Twenty five tenants were trained in 2008 to produce the annual report, and in 2009 two of these helped a further 23 tenants to produce the report for 2008/09.The report has had positive feedback from residents including offering value for money at £3 per copy. Many of the residents involved in the annual report have gone on to take part in other resident involvement activities’.

And what’s more we all enjoyed working with their residents and discovering their many anecdotes whilst helping them decide the look of the report and content.
